THE TECHNICAL COMMISSION

The Technical Commission (CT) consists of its director, secretaries of each official language (German and French), as well as a counsellor/assistant who can replace the director in time of need. The committee meets at the same moment and place as the CC. The CT is charged with studying and creating the norms of the railroad modelling NEM, very often according to wishes and/or proposals of the affiliated federations, and this in close collaboration with the representatives of the AA as well as the major construction companies of models and/or accessories (rails, electronic components, etc..). The specific norms concerning the exploitation of the networks on the digital system of the " Dcc " (Digital Control Command) are worked out with the NMRA(National Model Railroad Association) of the USA and are identical to the contents of the norms of that federation, with the exception to the numbering which are own to NMRA and MOROP. Furthermore the DCC system is almost the worldwide standard, for the NMRA covers the most part of the Anglo-Saxon countries and MOROP covers Europe.
